Alma D. Hornburg a former resident of Stevens Street passed away on Thursday January 1, 2004 at the Wellsville Manor Nursing Home. She was born August 31, 1908 in Wellsville to Edward E. and A. Belle Behrens Hornburg. She attended Wellsville High School and in 1944 went to work for Worthington from where she retired from in 1973.Alma was a member of the Wellsville Christian and Missionary Alliance Church where she had served as treasurer and in her younger years taught the children Primary Sunday School Class.

She is survived by a brother Glenn E.[Gladys]Hornburg of Wellsville and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents ; a sister Beulah Stryker and a brother Raymond T.J. Hornburg.

Friends may call on Friday January 2, 2004 from 6-9pm in the J.W.Embser Sons F.H. in Wellsville where a funeral service will take place on Saturday at 11am with Rev. Michael Brady presiding. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery and memorials may be made to the donor’s choice.
