Carl W. Tait of 4280 Cypress Drive died Saturday December 6, 2003 in San Bernardino. He was born on July 4,1928 in the Town of Willing to Harry and Josephine Lee Tait. He graduated from Wellsville High School and was a veteran of the US Army serving from 1945 to 1949.

Survivors include his 2 daughters Patricia and Janet; a sister Ruth Livergood of Wellsville ; a brother Lawrence Tait of Belmont and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a son Daniel Tait ; 2 sisters June Dean and Cora Billings ; 2 brothers Harry Tait Jr. and Leroy Tait

There will be now prior visitation and funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family . Memorials may be made to the Allegany County SPCA. Arrangements are under the direction of the J.W.Embser Sons F.H. in Wellsville.
