Dorothy I. Kapp, 97 of Coudersport died Friday, August 8, 2003 at the Long Term Care Facility of Charles Cole Memorial Hospital in Coudersport, PA.  She was born June 1, 1906 in Geneseo, NY the daughter of Bertrum and Dora (Roberts) Stocking.  She had been married to Lewis E. Greenman, Charles Shelley, and Gerald Kapp who all predeceased her. 

Dorothy was raised in the Wellsville area and was a former resident of Burkeville, TX, and Roulette, PA before moving to Coudersport. 

She is survived by 7 children; Lewis (Donna) Greenman Jr. of Port Allegany, Agnes (Bernard) LaBar of Coudersport, Martha Feick of Friendship, Bert (Betty) Greenman of Shinglehouse, Edith “Dolly” (Clair) Meyer of Wellsville, Merle “Bucky” (Sandra) Greenman of Wellsville, Keith (Gloria) Shelley of Athens, TX, 41 grandchildren, 153 great and great-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. 

In addition to her spouses, Dorothy was predeceased by 1 daughter; Ilah, 3 sons; George, Frank, Laverne, 1 sister; Edith Ellsworth, and 2 brothers; George and Frank Stocking.

Friends are invited to call from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 7:00 to 9:00 pm on Monday at the J.W. Embser Sons Funeral Home in Wellsville, where the funeral will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, August 12, 2003 with Rev. Ross Martin presiding.  Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Wellsville.  Memorials may be made to the Coudersport Fire Department or to the Frank B. Church Post #2530 V.F.W. in Wellsville.
