Yorks Corners, NY

Hazel A. Hilligas age 96 of  1167  State Route 19 South died Wednesday August 13 at the Highland Health Care Center. She was born January 21,1907 in the Town of Willing to George and Luna Goodridge Lampe. On December 9,1939 in Genesee,PA. she married Raymond Hilligas who predeceased her on November 19,1977. Hazel was a life long resident of the Yorks Corners area where she and her husband operated a dairy farm. She was a member of the Shongo Methodist Church and the Yorks Corners Grange.

Survivors include:   2 daughters Deloris[Rudy] Briggs and Sandy[Matt] Knepfler both of Yorks Corners  ; 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren ;  a nephew Jon[Linda] Ebeling of Shongo

Predeceased by : a brother Clarence Hilligas and a sister Minnie Ebeling 

There will be no prior visitation and friends are invited to attend a Funeral service on Saturday at 11am in the J.W.Embser Sons Funeral Home in Wellsville with Pastor R. Shaw presiding. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery and memorials may be made to the Wellsville Volunteer Ambulance Corps or to the donor’s choice.
