Helen E. Bigelow, of 4192 A Bolivar Road passed away on Sunday December 14, 2003 at the Wellsville Manor Care Center. She was born on March 5, 1917 in Forest City, PA the daughter of Anthony and Stephania (Dziublinski) Zebrowski.  On April 28, 1945 in Forest City, PA she married Vincent W. Bigelow who predeceased her in May of 1993.

Helen was a former  39 year resident of Genesee, PA and  was a member of the Sacred Heart Church in Genesee, PA.

She is survived by 2 sons: Walter (Phyllis) Gettsey of Seattle, WA; James (Cynthia) Bigelow of Canisteo, NY and 1 daughter: Juliana Jordan of Merrick, NY.  She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, 1 brother: Walter Zebrowski of Binghamton, NY; 1 sister: Lottie Smith of Borger, TX; and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by 3 sisters and 6 brothers.

Friends are invited to call on Wednesday December 17, 2003 from noon to 2:00 pm at the J.W. Embser Sons Funeral Home Inc. in Wellsville.  The funeral will follow visitation at 2:00 pm. in the Funeral Home.   Interment will be at the Saint Mary’s Cemetery in Kinney, PA.  Memorial suggestions include the Sacred Heart Church in Genesee, PA.
