Irene M. Hussey of 160 Seneca Street passed away peacefully Monday November 24, 2003 at the Wellsville Highland Care Center. She was born December 21, 1909 in Pittsburgh, PA the daughter of Harry and Lillian (Kummer) Beardshaw. She was first married to George Molner in 1930 in the Mogadore Ohio Church of Christ, he predeceased her in 1944. On November 27, 1952 she married Clifford M. Berry, who was the Superintendent of the Franklin County School System, he predeceased her 1972. In 1975 she married L. Kenneth Hussey who predeceased her in 1989. Irene was a former resident of Akron, Ohio, North Bangor, N.Y. and Palmetto, FL. She was formerly employed as a Customer Service Supervisor for the Ohio Bell Telephone Company in Akron, Ohio and was a 50 year member of the Order of the Eastern Star. 

She is survived by 1 daughter, Beverly (Gordon) Grantier of Wellsville, NY. 3 step daughters, Phyllis Smith of Charlotte, NC. Charmion Brothers of Dresden, Maine and Dulcianne Vye of Lemoine, Maine, 12 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and several nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by 2 sisters, Marian Taylor and Elizabeth Myers. 

There will be no prior visitation, a memorial service is being planned for a later date and interment will be in Hillside Memorial Park in Akron, Ohio. Memorial suggestions include the Wellsville Volunteer Ambulance Corps, the Stannards United Methodist Church or the Allegany County Office for the Aging.Arrangement are under the direction of J. W. Embser Sons Funeral Home Inc. in Wellsville.

 Friends are invited to call on Friday November 28 from 12 noon to 2pm in the J.W.Embser Sons F.H. in Wellsville followed by a Funeral service at 2pm in the Funeral Home. Burial will take place in Woodlawn Cemetery and Memorials may be made to the Allegany County SPCA.
