MARIETTA BRADLEY, 89 formerly of 2974 Truax Road passed away on April 27, 2004 at Manor Hills in Wellsville. She was born on August 27, 1914 in Kansas City, KS the daughter of William J. and Katherine (Brown) Blaine.
She was a former resident of Salt Lake City, UT and moved to Wellsville in 1989. She was a graduate of St. Mary’s High School in Colorado Springs, CO. She was first married to James Lewis Twombly in 1932 and later married Andrew J. Bradley who predeceased her in 1963. She was employed as a beautician in Scarsdale, NY for many years and was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church in Wellsville.
Marietta is survived by 1 son: James (Nancy) Twombly of Melbourne, FL; 1 daughter: Patricia (Tom) James of Wellsville, 7 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by 2 grandsons: Robert and James Holliday; 1 great grandson: Chad Graham; and 2 brothers: James E. Blaine and Joseph A. Blaine.
There will be no prior visitation. A memorial Mass will be scheduled for a later date and burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery; Wellsville. Memorial suggestions include the Immaculate Conception Church Memorial Fund.
