Michael D. Winans , 46 of 2 Carnes Court passed away on October 25 ,2003 in his home. He was born on April 29, 1957 in Wellsville to Lloyd and Delores {Walsh} Winans. Mike graduated from Wellsville High School in 1976 and from Breeden’s School of Welding in Genesee, PA. He worked for Foster Wheeler and retired from Air Preheater. He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church in Wellsville and was a life member the Willing Fire Department.

Surviving beside his parents of Wellsville:  paternal grandmother  Lucille Kellogg of Roulette, PA. ; a son Jason Winans of Mt. Morris , 2 daughters Mary Lue [Jason] Cline of Mt. Morris and Angela Winans of Mt. Morris; 5 brothers Steve[ Francine] Winans of Woodbridge, VA., Lloyd [sherry] Winans of Andover, Patrick Winans of Boca Raton, FL., Alan Winans of Syracuse and Neil [Diane] Winans of Wellsville ;  2 sisters Peggy [Anthony] Kuras of Derby and Vaughnda Bone of Wellsville ; 11 nieces and nephews as well as several aunts ,uncles and cousins.       

Friends may call on Tuesday October 28 from 2-4 and 7-9pm in the J.W.Embser Sons Funeral Home in Wellsville where a funeral service will held on Wednesday at 11am with Rev. Gene Ulrich presiding. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Willing Volunteer Fire Department, the Wellsville Volunteer Ambulance Corps or to the American Diabetes Association.
