Hornell, NY

ROBERT J. “BOB” GEE, 65 of 3486 Van Ness Lane passed away on Monday, April 5, 2004 at McAuley Manor in Hornell.  He was born on March 22, 1939 in Wellsville, the son of Douglas and Beatrice (Greenan) Gee.  On June 30, 1962 in Wellsville he married Annie Allen who survives.

Bob attended Immaculate Conception School and Wellsville High School.  He retired from the Air Preheater Maintenance Department. 

He was a life member of the Emerald Hook and Ladder.  He was also a former social member of the American Legion and the Survivors Club at Air Preheater.  He enjoyed being home and in the flower gardens. 

In addition to his wife Annie, Bob is survived by 1 son: Edward “Eddie” Gee of Wellsville; 2 daughters: Tracey Jackson of New Canaan, CT, Tina (Dale) Taylor of Bolivar; 4 brothers: James (Marion) Gee of Quartzsite, AZ; Douglas (Anita) Gee of Wellsville, Gerry Gee of Wellsville, Roger (Deb) Gee of Wellsville; 2 granddaughters, and several nieces and nephews. 

Friends are invited to call on Wednesday, 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm at the J.W. Embser Sons Funeral Home, Inc. in Wellsville.  A memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 8, 2004 at 11am in the funeral home with Rev. Dennis Wolf presiding.  Burial will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Wellsville.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the SPCA Serving Allegany County.
