Robert L. Hill, 65 of 2496 Perkins Rd, Wellsville, died July 12, 2003 at his home with his wife present.  He was born and raised in Akron, OH.

As a young man he served in the United States Marine Corps.  He then made the San Francisco Bay area his home, where in 1972 he met his wife, Judy.   They have been residents of Wellsville since 1979.  He was self employed as the owner of the Andover Liquor Store and the Emporium of Andover and the owner/manager of several rental properties.  

 

Bob loved spending time with his family and friends, being in nature, and pursuing his many interests: business ventures, building, remodeling, and landscaping projects, and artistic endeavors, particularly carving and sculpting.  He will be remembered for his positive outlook and love of life by the many family and friends whose lives he has touched. 

Friends are invited to call at the family residence from 3:00 to 5:00 pm on Tuesday, July 15, 2003.  A private memorial service will be held at a later date.  Memorials may be made to the SPCA serving Allegany County.
